Duties:

Advanced skills in all major areas of landscape construction including layout, grading, drainage, paving and planting.
Excellent machine operation and maintenance abilities including skid steer and excavator (certification will be an asset)
Skilled in stone work, wall and columns, natural stone, flatwork, concrete block, stone slab stairs and other types of stone installation on high-end residential properties.
Knowledge of different types of mortar, cement, and their applications in different conditions
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Conscientious individual with a sense of urgency

SOFTSCAPE/PLANTING

Duties:

Excellent knowledge of planting shrubs, container stock, grasses, perennials, trees and any other planting materials
Carrying and stacking paving materials, lumber, steel/rebar, pallets, other building materials
Digging trenches for irrigation, drainage, landscape lighting
Planting trees and shrubs, container stock, bulbs and plants of various sizes
Loading, pushing and dumping wheelbarrows of various materials: (soil, sand, gravel, screenings, road base etc).
Spreading, raking, and compacting various materials
Operating small gas and electrical tools including chainsaws, compactor, lawnmower, line trimmer, circular saw, various size jackhammers
