Rona/B.H. Allen Building Centre is seeking mature individuals with outgoing personalities and positive attitudes for the position of Senior Cashier. Approximately 30-35 hours a week for right candidate.
Responsibilities:
-Act in accordance with RONA policies and procedures
-Greet Customers, provide direction/information on services, promotional events etc.
-Professionally handle general reception including answering incoming phone calls
-Receive customer returns, verify purchases, process method of payments
-Advise customers of method of refund as per policy, secure appropriate authorization and process
-Be familiar with all POS functions, procedures and policies
-Opening and closing responsibilities
-Ensure adequate float is maintained at all times, and complete nightly deposit and balance cash
-Work in collaboration with fellow employees in all departments
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-High School Graduate(not suitable for students)
-Previous customer service/cash management experience REQUIRED
-Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
-Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
-Supervisory Skills
– Must be flexible to work all shifts between the hours of (6:30am till 9:30pm) Monday to Friday
and (6:30am till 6:30pm) Saturday and Sunday
